Javier Gozalvez elected Executive Vice President of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society

Javier Gozalvez, Associate Profesor at UMH’s Department of Communications Engineering and Director of  the UWICORE Laboratory, has been elected as Executive Vice President of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society for 2014, and has been re‐elected to the Society’s Board of Governors for a new 3 years term starting in 2014. The society has three main areas of interest: mobile radio, automotive electronics, and transportation systems. Javier has been strongly involved with the society as part of its Board of Governors, Mobile Radio Senior Editor of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine, and Program Co‐Chair (among other roles) of its flagship conference the IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference.
